Listener Choice Results: Today 95.3 WBCK announced the winner for their first-ever “Listener Choice” game for the Game of the Night on 1/28/2020. There were 367 votes placed between January 13th and January 19th. The final results showed the Tigers game at Calhoun Christian received 195 (53%) of the 367 total votes. Therefore, 95.3 WBCK will broadcast our game live on their radio station, website (https://wbckfm.com/listen-live/popup/) and the WBCK app. There were three other games in the poll which included St. Phil hosting Colon in second place at 26 percent. Harper Creek hosting Parchment with 17 percent of the vote, and Lakeview hosting Stevensville-Lakeshore finishing at four percent.

Game Preview: The Calhoun Christian Cougars are 7-3 on the season with wins over local schools Athens and Climax-Scotts. The Cougars upcoming schedule shows them taking on another local school in St. Phil before their meeting on 1/28 with our Tigers. Our Tigers boys varsity basketball team is currently 3-3 on the season and will meet with Pansophia Academy (1/21) and GRAA (1/25) at BCA this week before the “Game of the Night” on 1/28.

Schedule for 1/28: The Tigers will have a three game evening at Calhoun Christian on 1/28. The girls middle school basketball team will play at 4:30 pm followed by the boys junior varsity basketball team at 5:30 pm. The boys varsity basketball game is currently scheduled to start at 7:00 pm but will most likely be moved to a 7:30 pm start due to the radio broadcast slot.
