Our program embraces opportunities to participate in friendship games with athletic programs in the area. The ultimate purpose of each friendship game is to strengthen relationships with our community and in doing so, glorify Christ. We are blessed to have developed long-lasting friendships with a core group of area schools, including Calhoun Christian, Factoryville Christian, Heritage Christian, Howardsville Christian and Barry County Christian. We work together with these schools to build a positive, spiritual environment, and we welcome new opportunities to share our faith with others.
The goal of Battle Creek Athletics is to show Christ’s character to our entire community while providing students who attend Battle Creek Academy the opportunity to participate in interscholastic athletics that foster an environment of joyful leadership, inspiring each participant to mature mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, while instilling in each participant the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and strength of character.
Whatever you are doing, put your whole heart into it, as if you were doing it for the Lord and not for men, knowing that there is a Master who will give you your heritage as a reward for your service.— Col 3:23, NEB
